The Jurassic Blocky tier list system organizes all 30+ playable dinosaurs into five official tiers that govern combat interactions on Roblox. Understanding tiers is essential for PvP — a heavy attack ragdolls opponents of the same tier or lower, but only deals damage to higher-tier targets. This guide explains official tiers and links to community PvP rankings.
Official Tier System
Playables are classified by health, size, and DPS. Each tier page lists all dinosaurs with prices and combat notes:
- Tier 1 — Starters and runners (Gallimimus, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus)
- Tier 2 — Mid-small predators (Allosaurus, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx)
- Tier 3 — PvP staples (Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus)
- Tier 4 — Large dinosaurs and hybrids (Indominus Rex, Apatosaurus)
- Tier 5 — Apex titans (Brachiosaurus, Dreadnoughtus)
Ragdoll Mechanics
When a Tier 1 Gallimimus heavy attacks another Tier 1 dinosaur, the target is ragdolled. Against a Tier 3 Allosaurus, the heavy only deals damage without ragdoll. This applies universally — check each dinosaur's tier before engaging in PvP. See our combat guide for tactical applications.
Community PvP Rankings
Official tiers differ from community opinion on PvP strength. Visit our PvP Rankings page for community-voted tier placements based on actual combat performance, ability kits, and current balance patches.
