Step 1: Learn Controls
Review our complete controls guide for your platform. On PC: WASD to move, left-click to attack, F for heavy, Shift to sprint. Press H to hide the UI for practice. On mobile: joystick plus on-screen buttons — see mobile controls.
Step 2: Your First Amber Run
Head immediately to the Canyon — avoid the dangerous Central Lake. Collect Amber for 50 DinoCoins each. Follow the route in our Amber farming guide.
Step 3: Buy Velociraptor (30 DinoCoins)
Your first upgrade transforms gameplay. Velociraptor's speed enables hit-and-run tactics and safer farming. Use the calculator to track progress.
Step 4: Understand the Rules
- Private servers give zero DinoCoins — always play public.
- Skins are cosmetic — buy dinosaurs first.
- Heavy attacks ragdoll same tier or lower — learn tiers on our tier list.
